So, what did you all think of the book? Good? Bad? Interesting? Stupid? Thrilling? Boring? ("Yawn...")
Come up with the most descriptive description (wow...that's kind of odd...descriptive description...I sure have a way with words, eh?) you can about the book, and we'll compare. I personally didn't enjoy the book that much, but I thought it was better than The Chrysalids.
I also cannot believe that we're finished this unit (almost)! I loved coming to the computer lab to work on the blogs; they were fun. We should do this for Romeo and Juliet, too (hint hint, sir).
Heather, I hope you and your loss of wisdom are feeling better!
Cheers.

The boys looks like fools, hahaha like...you Kate...hahaha
I thought the book made some really good points. It was confusing at times, however, when you thought about it, it was extremely insightful. I thought it was sad that these boys had such a tramatic experience so early on in their lives. I wonder if they ever got over it, especially Ralph. (If they were real people, that is.)
I'm sorry I haven't been able to post. As you know, my computer won't let me put on new posts, and I'm not leaving my house until I stop looking like I have grapefruits permanenetly lodged in my cheeks. Sorry for the delay! I will get it done ASAP. Keep smiling, everyone. (Except for me... smiling is still painful at this point in time.)
It's all good. Although, Kate almost pressured me into doing your part. Luckily using my intense power of knowledge, I snuck out of her weird gaze and...I dont know where i'm going with this...
Malick, you are so dead when I get to school on Monday.
I did not 'almost pressure' you! I merely....suggested. Get it right!
Cheers.
hahaha...i'm not Piggy...=(! HAHHAA I just remembered, on Friday, we watched the rest of LOTF and we watched the part wehere Piggy dies. The effects are so bad! Roger: *pushes boulder* Piggy: *Looks up* Ahh! Ralph:Piggy! *Piggy's body floats in teh water.* L-A-M-E. It was a good movie though.
Aww...I wanted to see Piggy and Simon die!
Okay; let me rephrase that. That sounded morbid.
I wanted to see the end of the movie.
Cheers.
Haha... nice touch, Kate. I'm glad I missed it, although I did want to see them get rescued. But when Simon died I probably would've cried, and then people would've made fun of me and I would've been sad.
